TUCSON, Ariz. -- Six players scored in double digits to lead the Arizona women’s basketball team to a 100-68 win over Oregon on Sunday afternoon.

Junior Alli Gloyd scored 17 points and grabbed nine rebounds, sophomore Layana White had 16 points, freshman Keyahndra Cannon posted 14 points, senior Davellyn Whyte and junior Carissa Crutchfield added 13 each and freshman Nyre Harris finished with 10.

Crutchfield also dished out a career-high 11 assists for her first double-double of the season.

As a team, Arizona (10-5, 2-2) achieved its highest point total of the season, reaching 100 for the first time since Dec. 31, 2010.

UA forced 26 Oregon turnovers and held the Ducks (2-14, 0-4) to only nine assists.

“There was a ton of urgency coming into the game,” Wildcats head coach Niya Butts said. “We know that we are capable of doing anything, and we also know that anything can happen. You can start winning a couple games but then you can go on a three game losing streak. They know what we want to do as a team and in order for that to happen, we needed to protect home court.”

In the first half, Arizona shot 58 percent from the 3-point line, with White going 4 for 4. Arizona took an 8-7 lead, turned it into a 20-point lead and went into the locker room up 55-34. White scored 14 points in the half while Gloyd had 12 and grabbed seven rebounds.

Oregon fought back in the second half, but it was too little, too late.

Jillian Alleyne led the Ducks with 18 points and 12 rebounds.

Arizona will hit the road again next weekend to take on Utah in Salt Lake City on Friday and Colorado in Boulder, Colo., on Sunday.
