RENO, Nev. (AP)
-- Rihards Kuksiks scored 20 points as Arizona State held off Nevada for a 78-75 victory on Friday night.

Ty Abbott added 17 points for the Sun Devils (5-4), including a 3-pointer with 59 seconds remaining that stopped a Nevada run that cut the lead to 67-66. Trent Lockett had 15 points and helped seal Arizona State's first road victory of the season with four free throws in the final 21 seconds.

Malik Story had 19 points and Deonte Burton 18 for the Wolf Pack (2-8).

The Sun Devils led 77-70 with 4.8 seconds left, but Jerry Evans Jr. was fouled on a 3-point attempt, made two free throws, then tipped in his own miss of the third to make it 77-74.

Kuksiks' free throw with 2.8 seconds left put the game out of reach.
