-- Virginia scored the game-winning touchdown with six seconds remaining the fourth quarter, with Jake McGee catching a ten-yard touchdown from Michael Rocco. Miami's loss lessens their ACC title chances, as they are now level with Duke, Georgia Tech, and Virginia Tech.
-- Miami RB Duke Johnson ran for 150 yards on 16 carries, and gained 216 yards on kick returns, including a 95-yard touchdown in the first quarter. Johnson also passed for an eight-yard touchdown in the first quarter.
-- Rocco completed 29 of 37 passes for 300 yards and four touchdowns. Darius Jennings was the recipient of two of those touchdowns, gaining 57 yards in the air, as Dominique Terrell added 127 yards on 9 catches.
North Carolina 50
-- Georgia Tech pulled away in the second half after trailing 28-29 at halftime. UNC RB A.J. Blue ran for a two-point conversion just before the end of the second quarter, capping a half that featured all rushing touchdowns.
-- QB Vlad Lee was the driving force for Georgia Tech, who took over from Tevin Washington in the first quarter. Lee amassed 127 yards on the ground for two touchdowns, and passed for one more. Lee threw for 169 yards, and threw an interception. Washington ran for 25 yards and a touchdown.
-- Georgia Tech did most of their scoring on big plays in the third quarter to pull ahead. Jamal Golden returned a kickoff for 100 yards, and Robert Godhigh aded a 27-yard touchdown run and a 32-yard catch, the latter handing Tech a 58-36 advantage.
-- Clemson dominated injury-depleted Maryland, taking advantage of converted linebacker Shawn Petty, who started at quarterback. Petty fumbled once and passed for just 41 total yards.
-- Tajh Boyd threw for 261 yards and three touchdowns, and backup Cole Stoudt added another in the fourth quarter. Andre Ellington ran for a touchdown and just 51 yards, but the Tigers gained 135 on the ground as a team. Clemson gained 436 total yards and surrendered just 180.
-- Clemson converted three fourth downs during the game. Both Maryland and Clemson lost three fumbles during the game.
-- N.C. State dominated Wake Forest, who managed to score a touchdown but missed the extra point. The Wolfpack gained 428 yards, including 26 first downs. The Wolfpack dominated the first and third quarters, scoring 34 of their 37 in those quarters.
-- N.C. State QB Mike Glennon was effective, throwing for 258 yards and two touchdowns. Glennon completed 25 of 41 and one interception. Schadrach Thornton ran for 110 yards, and Tony Creecy added 36 more and a touchdown. Niklas Slade kicked a field goal in the fourth quarter to set the final score, his third on the day.
-- Wake Forest's lone score came on a trick play. Michael Campanaro threw a 39-yard score to Terence Davis in the second quarter. Campanaro added five receptions of his own for just 14 yards. Wake managed just 185 total yards.
-- Notre Dame started slowly against Boston College, but pulled ahead just before halftime on Everett Golden's seven-yard pass to Troy Niklas for a 14-3 lead. They added another touchdown early in the third quarter, and rode the lead out to victory.
-- Everett Golson scored three touchdowns, two in the air and one on the ground, gaining 239 total yards in the process. Theo Riddick ran over 104 yards on 18 carries.
-- Boston College QB Chase Rettig played well, completing 27 of 43 passes for 247 yards, but did throw an interception. The Eagles were unable to get much going on the ground, gaining just 53 yards. Nate Freese kicked both field goals for Boston College.
