Midweek Sprint Cup Series racing? Brad Keselowski is all for it.

Kevin Harvick loved the idea.

Some fans were quick to offer rebuttals ... like this one. Would attendance for a midweek race suffer because races "are just weekend trips for many people?"
Huge misconception. I meet people from all across the country and sometimes other countries, every race week. https://t.co/pODBaNw8vN

People always come to great events. NFL packs stadiums for thanksgiving, NBA for Christmas. NASCAR can too. https://t.co/DxRgq9UVY7

Where would be the ideal track for such an event? And would it be too tough on the teams and crew?
The teams are well setup for the challenge if you trade it for testing. Any track that has 2 races should B midweek https://t.co/W4mZOak1qE

While a midweek Sprint Cup Series race is strictly hypothetical at this point, it's a reality for the Camping World Truck Series.
You can catch the "Mudsummer Classic" from Eldora Speedway next Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 1.
