Week 0: Aug. 31
(5A- No. 1) Southlake Carroll @ (5A- No. 8) Allen
Allen opens up its new $60 million stadium. Both Top 10 teams in the state, Both rich in tradition, history and both loaded with talent.

Week 1: Sept. 7
(Prv) Cathedral @ (4A) El Paso HS

Jones Stadium is one of prettiest in the nation, overlooking El Paso. Both teams play home games there, oldest concrete stadium in the country/historic school and stadium.

Week 2: Sept. 14
(3A) Graham @ (3A-No. 18) Abilene Wylie
Graham No. 1 in its district, Abilene Wylie No. 1 in its district/AB RB (Martin) 2011 District MVP.
 
Week 3: Sept. 21
(2A) Mount Vernon @ (2A) Winnsboro
Rivalry game that goes back 70 years.

Week 4: Sept. 28
(4A-No. 19) Corsicana @ (4A-No. 18) Sulphur Springs
Both teams ranked in state. Sulphur Springs won eight last year and was very young, with a number of returning players. Corsicana made the State Semi's in 2011 and returns QB (Bell).

Week 5: Oct. 5
(6M-No. 1) Throckmorton @ (1A-No. 9) Windthorst
A 6-Man team vs 11-man team. One half played 11 and the other will be 6-man.  Both very good teams in its classifications.
 
Week 6: Oct. 12
(4A-No. 14) Kerrville Tivy @ (4A) Boerne Champion
Tivy loaded but with new coach (Jones) from Cy Woods, returns QB (McNeil).  BC also predicted playoff team, huge OL, and good QB (Poeske).

Week 7 - Oct. 19
(3A) Yoakum @ (3A) Cuero
DeWitt County, 100-year rivalry. Neither team predicted playoffs this year, but Cuero new coach brings his kid QB and Youkum returns a lot of kids from 2011 team.
 
Week 8: Oct. 25 ***THURSDAY***
(4A) Austin McCallum @ (4A) Austin LBJ
Both top teams in the District and both schools with first-year coaches.  LBJ young but plenty of athletes.  Austin McCallum with strong offense, but questions on defense, however new coach is a former defensive coordinator.
 
Week 9: Nov. 2
(5A) Mansfield @ (5A) Cedar Hill
Both state ranked Top 20. Three teams from District all in Top 20 in the state. (DeSoto) / District 2 and 3 / Cedar Hill running back (Gonzales) is a Texas A&M commit.
 
Week 10: Nov. 8 ***THURSDAY***
(4A-No. 9) Angleton @ (4A) Rosenberg Terry
Both with state rankings votes; District  1 and 2 Pre-season. Angleton second-year coach with team returning a lot from deep 2011 playoff run.  Terry with lots of off firepower led by District MVP QB (Arboleda). Terry WR (Griffin) Top 5 Recruit in the nation (A&M).
