TEMPE - Arizona State University has added two more football recruits to its Class of 2011.
Pasadena (Calif.) Muir High School wide receiver Karl Holmes and Butte College (Calif.) wideout/return specialist Rashad Ross signed national letters of intent, bringing the class size to 18.
Karl Holmes, 6-feet-3 and 180 pounds, also runs track, with a personal best of 10.89 in the 100 meters. He led Muir with 23 receptions for 628 yards and six touchdowns as a senior in 2010.
Rashad Ross, 6-0 and 170, was one of the premier returns specialists at the junior college level the past two seasons. He has three years to play two beginning in 2011.
He also runs track, with a personal best of 10.5 seconds in the 100 and has been clocked at 4.37 seconds for 40 yards. He earned first-team All-America honors as a return specialist at Butte, avergining 12.9 yards on punt returns, 25.3 on kickoff returns. He had three returns for touchdowns.
