Kurt Warner, former Arizona Cardinals QB and Super Bowl champion, joins Matt this week to discuss his new reality TV show called "The Moment" and how it ties into his life story. Plus, they discuss the Cardinals new head coach Bruce Arians and how Carson Palmer can succeed this season.
Among his observations:
On why he wanted to host a TV show: "I didn't necessarily just want to get involved to be a host and to be a TV personality, but to be able to use my story to inspire people was the biggest motivator, and I'm very, very proud of this project."
On what he has liked from Cardinals new head coach Bruce Arians so far: "I like the attitude that he's brought in. I think he's a very tough-minded, strong coach that has come in and kind of laid down the law on the way it's going to be. I think he's a great players coach, I've heard some great things from the players about early impressions from him."
On NBA player Jason Collins' announcement last week: "I think it's groundbreaking and opens some new doors there for other individuals to be able to express who they are, and I look forward to seeing it happen in the other sports and seeing how people handle it."
