St. John Bosco had to replace 10 starters from its national champion winning defense from a year ago.
One of those new starters is junior cornerback Traveon Beck, who's turned into the team's top corner -- often times getting the task of defending the opposition's best receiver.
The Braves will face Centennial in the Pac-5 final on Saturday at 8 p.m. on FOX Sports West.
In addition to his two interceptions -- one of which was returned for a touchdown -- Beck also has a fumble recovery for a touchdown on the season. In the meantime, here's 10 things you may not know about him:
Nickname
If you shorten Traveon, you get Tray and that's what Beck goes by at times.
Hobbies
In his free time, Beck likes playing basketball or going to either Fontana or Lake Tahoe to race dirt bikes. He's been racing since around the age of seven.
Late night snack
If it's late and Beck wants something to eat, he has to go with pizza. Hawaiian, in particular.

For as long as Beck can remember he's been a fan of the Oakland Raiders.

"It's a football movie," Beck said. "(It's) a story about the lives of inmates and how they can change."

For that, Beck would select funny man Chris Tucker.

"I can see him playing me the best," Beck said. "He's a pretty funny guy. I feel that I'm funny, sometimes."

Beck settled on No. 28 and so far it's worked.
"Last year I wanted No. 24 but (senior Jason Lucero) had No. 24 so I had to go with No. 28," he said.
Pregame ritual
Before every game Beck makes it a point to go in between the goalposts and pray.
