How fast can Usain Bolt run a mile?
The question has been a hot topic of debate among running circles and Bolt gave an estimate as he sat down with Sports Illustrated for a Facebook Live Q&A and a photoshoot.
Bolt revealed that he has previously run 800 meters in 2:07 and then laughed when he was asked whether he could break five minutes.
“Of course!” Bolt said. “Of course I could break five minutes! I'm not that bad.”
In the Facebook Live session, Bolt also reitterated the fact that he only plans to run the 100 meters at next year's world champioships in London before retiring.
