British equestrian rider Pippa Funnell is out of contention for the London Olympics after injuries to her top horses.
The British Equestrian Federation says Redesigned and Billy Shannon have sustained injuries.
Funnell, who competes in three-day eventing, won team and individual medals at the 2000 and 2004 Olympics.
Funnell says she is ''devastated'' because ''winning a medal at London would have been the pinnacle of my career.''

Top-ranked William Fox-Pitt, Mary King, Piggy French and Nicola Wilson are expected to fill four of the five British places for the games.
Funnell was expected to challenge for a team spot alongside Tina Cook, Oliver Townend, Laura Collett, Lucy Wiegersma and Zara Phillips, Queen Elizabeth II's granddaughter.
