Updated Mar. 4, 2020 2:40 p.m. ET

The injury-riddled Columbus Blue Jackets will be without forward Boone Jenner for one to two months because of a stress fracture in his back.

The club placed Jenner on injured reserve Saturday and recalled center Sean Collins from its American Hockey League affiliate in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Jenner had six goals and six assists in 20 games, including five goals and an assist in the Blue Jackets' current eight-game points streak (7-0-1).

Collins has played in two games for Columbus this season and has 10 goals and nine assists in 27 games at Springfield.

The Blue Jackets were already without several top players because of injuries.
