Oakland Raiders players (and Jack Del Rio) took to social media to show support for Derek Carr, who broke the fibula in his right leg in Saturday’s win over the Colts.

With a 33-7 lead early in the 4th quarter, the Oakland Raiders had seemed to finally put together a complete performance, dominating the Indianapolis Colts on Christmas Eve — and then it all came crashing down. Derek Carr was sacked with 11:02 to go in the game, and suffered a break in his right fibula.

Members of the team, Jack Del Rio included, expressed their support for Derek Carr following the injury.

Donald Penn allowed the sack where Derek Carr got hurt — the first sack allowed by Penn all season. He took the injury to D.C. very personally.

Oni Omoile, practice squad offensive lineman and cousin of Kelechi Osemele, probably with the best tweet of the group.

Jack Del Rio weighed in on Twitter as well.

Vadal Alexander:

Bruce Irvin said in the post-game that losing Carr to injury felt like losing your best friend.

Big Dan Williams:

Menelik Watson:

DeAndre Washington, who had the best game of his career on Saturday:

Seth Roberts:

Antonio Hamilton:

And even though he isn’t a Raider currently — once a Raider, always a Raider. Marcel Reece shared some thoughts on Twitter.
