Forte in Chicago, Lacy in Green Bay out with injuries

Published Nov. 15, 2015 12:50 p.m. ET

Chicago running back Matt Forte is missing his second straight game with a right knee injury, and Green Bay's Eddie Lacy is out Sunday against Detroit a week after sustaining a groin injury.

Both were listed as questionable, and Forte is sitting against St. Louis after injuring his knee two weeks against Minnesota. Lacy was hurt against Carolina, and had lost the starting job earlier in the week to James Starks.

Receiver Calvin Johnson is active for Detroit after he was questionable with an ankle injury.

The Packers' secondary has the return of top cornerback Sam Shields, who is active after missing most of the past two games with a shoulder injury.

Washington got a similar boost in the secondary for a game against New Orleans' Drew Brees with the return of cornerback DeAngelo Hall. He's active for the first time since Week 3, when he injured his big right toe.

Miami cornerback Brent Grimes was a late scratch because of an illness against the Eagles. Grimes, a two-time Pro Bowl pick, is a Philadelphia native and had played in every game since he joined the Dolphins in 2013.

Pittsburgh quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will dress, though it appears backup Landry Jones will get a chance to start against the banged-up Browns, who will send out Johnny Manziel with Josh McCown sidelined by a rib injury.

The Browns, who haven't won in Pittsburgh since 2003, will also be without three starting defensive backs with Justin Gilbert, Joe Haden and Donte Whitner inactive.
