Final Week 6 Injury Report: Freeny, Scruggs Out for Patriots
New England’s final Week 6 injury report lists linebacker Jonathan Freeny and tight end Greg Scruggs as out for Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Linebacker Jamie Collins was added to the team’s injury report on Thursday with a hip issue. Meanwhile, tight end Rob Gronkowski was not spotted in the media portion of the team’s practice on Friday. The team reports that he missed Friday’s practice due to an undisclosed illness.
Both Gronkowski and Collins are listed as questionable for Sunday.
Other questionable players are:
There haven’t been any indications this week that Edelman’s surgically repaired foot is giving him enough trouble to keep him out of Sunday’s game. He’s been listed on the injury report for the last two weeks, however, so it’s worth keeping an eye on to see if it hampers him at all this week.
Special teams contributor Brandon Bolden is upgraded from out to questionable this week after suffering a knee injury in Week 4 against the Buffalo Bills. His chances of actually seeing the field are uncertain, however.
For the Bengals, tight end Tyler Eifert is the only player listed on the team’s injury report heading into the weekend. He is listed as out and will not play in Sunday’s game at Foxborough.
