Delanie Walker inactive vs. Oakland Raiders
Tennessee Titans Pro Bowl tight end Delanie Walker will be inactive versus the Oakland Raiders.
After either missing or being limited in practice every day during the week, Delanie Walker was officially listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Raiders — with the expectation that he would be a game-time decision.
That decision has been made, and Walker will be inactive for the game.

Walker had said during the week there was “not a chance” he would miss the game. But hamstring injuries can be troublesome, as the only real rehab for them is rest.
For the Raiders, this is obviously a huge break for the defense. After making the Falcons trio of tight ends look like Rob Gronkowski, it was clear that the Oakland’s struggles to defend the position in 2016 would continue.
So facing a player of Walker’s caliber was daunting, to say the least.
It’s a big loss for the Tennessee offense, who certainly will look to establish the run early and often. So that’s the next challenge for the defense, which will feature two new starters.
