Cam Newton wears an outrageous postgame outfit a week after 'tiegate'

A week after being forced to sit out the first series against the Seahawks because he didn’t wear a tie, Cam Newton was definitely back to his stylish ways Sunday.

After the Carolina Panthers’ 28-16 win over the Chargers, Newton showed up to the postgame news conference wearing a scarf, green hat, glasses and a cozy-looking sweater.

But a tie doesn’t appear to be part of the ensemble.

Sunday’s game was at home, so maybe there was no dress code this time. Only Ron Rivera knows the answer to that one.
