It wasn’t a successful Week 8 for the Buffalo Bills, making it two losses in a row with their loss vs. the Patriots. Here’s how they did from a fantasy standpoint.
Not a whole lot went right for the Buffalo Bills on Sunday when they hosted the New England Patriots.

The Bills had a chance to finish the rival sweep, but failed to convert and lost 41-25 in a game that was dominated by the Patriots‘ passing attack.
Earlier, I went through and graded the Bills’ offense (passing, rushing, receiving, offensive line) and defense (defensive line, linebackers, defensive backs) in the loss. That grades can be seen here.
This time around, we are going to dip into the fantasy perspective and see how the Bills’ players did — for those who drafted them.
So far, our top-three fantasy performers on the year are Tyrod Taylor, LeSean McCoy and the Bills’ defense/special teams.
Tyrod Taylor has been a consistent fantasy prospect and has racked up 131 fantasy points to lead the Bills. Despite missing time with an injury, McCoy has tallied 107 fantasy points and could easily be the leader if his hamstring wasn’t an issue. The Bills’ defense had a nice four-game stretch that helped to 61 points this year, but have been un-productive the past two games.
We will start off with the player that had the 3rd best fantasy performance on Sunday vs. New England.

RB Jonathan Williams

7Jonathan Williams finds his name on this list for the first time this year and it was all thanks to his first career rushing touchdown. Although it came with 30 seconds left in garbage time, it was his first nonetheless. He ended the day with 5 carries for 12 yards, with that touchdown giving him 6 of his 7 points. He had been featured in two other games before this one — vs. Cardinals (3 carries, 2 yards) and vs. 49ers (5 carries, 21 yards, fumble) — but this was his first productive one. RB Mike Gillislee
Buffalo Bills vs. New England Patriots
14It was really the only thing the Bills did right on Sunday, which was give Gillislee the ball — although they could’ve done it even more. He finished the day with 12 carries for 85 yards and one touchdown on the ground. He added 3 catches for 9 yards, although that didn’t amount to any fantasy points. Life without LeSean McCoy has been tough, but Gillislee definitely makes it a bit easier. Plus, it’s clear that the Bills’ true weakness is the passing game, so losing Shady was never the problem. Gillislee’s 14 fantasy points most likely made a lot of owners happy — the ones that chose him as a replacement to McCoy.Next: Bills' QB Tyrod Taylor

QB Tyrod Taylor
Buffalo Bills vs. New England Patriots
17Tyrod Taylor had yet another terrible passing performance, but ended up doing damage on the ground instead. Through the air, he accumulated just 183 yards — his fifth worst this season — and threw for no touchdowns. The good news is, he finished his third game without a turnover and fifth game without an interception. With 7 of his fantasy points coming through the air, that left 10 on the ground. He finished with 48 yards on 5 carries and one touchdown. Overall, his 17 points is a fair fantasy number and it’s all thanks to his rushing performance — scoring his second rushing touchdown in as many games. He leads the Bills with 131 fantasy points.Next: Marcell Dareus Gives Back on Halloween
