Bills LB Preston Brown named AFC Defensive Player of the Week
The Buffalo Bills were dominant on defense against the Miami Dolphins in Week 3 as they gave up just 14 points.
A big reason why the defense shut down the Dolphins is because of linebacker Preston Brown's play. He made seven tackles and pulled down two interceptions, returning one for a touchdown.
The performance was enough to earn him AFC Defensive Player of the Week honors.
Brown is the first Bills linebacker to win the award since Takeo Spikes did it in 2003, and he was the team's first linebacker to record a pick-six since 2011.
Brown now has 25 tackles on the season to go along with two interceptions and two passes defensed.
1 touchdown. 2 interceptions. 7 tackles. Congrats, Preston! You earned it. http://t.co/QOWnZCyfmT pic.twitter.com/mKNfXCMYTI
