Aaron Donald, Tavon Austin earn NFC Player of the Week honors


Aaron Donald and Tavon Austin both played key roles in the Rams Week 1 win over the Seahawks.
As such, the two were honored with NFC Player of the Week awards.

Donald was recognized as NFC Defensive Player of the Week after recording nine tackles, including three for loss, two sacks and three quarterback hits.
He, along with the rest of the defensive line, came up with the key stop on 4th-and-1 in overtime to seal the game.

Austin was awarded NFC Special Teams Player of the Week, after scoring on a 16-yard touchdown run as well as a 75-yard punt return.
