This Mavericks-Rockets series isn't going as one side hoped it would, and there are dozens of reasons why.

Dwight Howard is unstoppable. James Harden looks like the MVP. Josh Smith turned into Magic Johnson. Rajon Rondo is playing the worst basketball of his life. Dirk Nowitzki can't guard anybody. And so much more.

But there are important numbers, too. Here's one of five stats provided by CBS DFW.

"James Harden has taken 30 free throws in this series alone, including 17 in Game 1. All together, Houston has attempted 35 more free throws than Dallas (80-45)."
