C.J. McCollum's dribbling exercise will immediately hypnotize you
It's only January, and Portland Trail Blazers guard C.J. McCollum has already locked up the NBA's Most Improved Player award. There's no debate to be had. He's been one of the league's most dynamic scorers all year, and that's incredible for a guy who averaged only 6.8 points per game last season.
How is he doing it? Well, there's no one answer to that question. But the pregame ball-handling routine McCollum exhibits below is a good indicator of just how hard he works, and how complex and ridiculous his exercises are:
McCollum is averaging 21.0 points per game, and only six players in the entire league have scored more total this season. Only four have made more baskets and only five have more threes.
He's the NBA's preeminent break-out star. Let him hypnotize you.
