Roush upgraded to fair condition
NASCAR Sprint Cup team owner Jack Roush has been upgraded to fair condition at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. Roush continues to recover from injuries sustained when his plane crashed July 27 in Oshkosh, Wis.
Roush will continue to be treated at the Mayo Clinic for facial injuries. There is no set timetable for his release.
Although he missed this weekend’s race activities at Pocono Raceway, Roush and his team had cause for celebration as Greg Biffle won the Sunoco Red Cross Pennsylvania 500. Biffle not only snapped his own 64-race winless streak, but also handed manufacturer Ford its first Cup victory of the season.
