Pocono on-track activities on hold

NASCAR Sprint Cup practice has been delayed at Pocono Raceway because of rain in the area.

The Sprint Cup drivers were scheduled to get on track at noon ET today for a 90-minute session. The qualifying session is scheduled for 3:40 p.m. local time today.

According to weather.com, rain is expected to continue off and on until approximately 3 a.m. ET.

NASCAR's Air Titan drying system is at the track, which will significantly reduce time needed to dry the 2.5-mile triangular track.
