Ford's triumphant return to 24 Hours of Le Mans has heavy NASCAR flavor

Ford's triumphant return to the 24 Hours of Le Mans had a heavy NASCAR flavor to it on several levels.
Car owner Chip Ganassi, who also races in NASCAR and IndyCar, fielded the class-winning Ford GT at Le Mans, with power from Roush Yates Engines, the same company who supplies the powerplants for Ford's NASCAR teams.
And considering the victory came on the 50th anniversary of Ford defeating Ferrari at Le Mans, this was a huge victory for all involved.
50 years later, @FordPerformance returns to the @24hoursoflemans with a victory and a strong team finish. #OneTeam pic.twitter.com/qKjfE8njTV
