Carl Edwards' rash of bad luck continued 138 laps into the Daytona 500 on Sunday.

Edwards was hit from behind by Trevor Bayne, who claimed he was “hooked from behind” entering Turn 1 at Daytona International Speedway.

The eight-car wreck also collected defending Sprint Cup champion Brad Keselowski, Terry Labonte, Austin Dillon, Josh Wise, David Ragan and Ricky Stenhouse Jr.

“I feel like the tie-rod is broke in the front,” Edwards reported. “I have a couple of flat tires,” Edwards said.
