During the second stage of the 2016 Dakar Rally, multiple cars ended up stuck in a sloppy, muddy mess.
A few drivers were forced to get out of their cars after efforts to escape the mud were unsuccessful, including American driver Robby Gordon and his SPEED Energy team.
Gordon and Navigator Kellon Welsh were able to get themselves unstuck, but not before they lost 15 minutes to the leader.
Gordon's team finished Stage Two in four hours, three minutes, and 22 seconds - 17 minutes and 17 seconds behind the overall winner of the stage.
