The incredible sound coming from this 1972 Plymouth 'Cuda comes from the 7.2-liter 440 cid V8 engine, which gives this car a 600-horsepower roar.
The Plymouth Barracuda was produced from 1964 to 1974. The 1970-1974 models were produced as a coupe and a convertible.
Plymouth's last day of production for this car was April 1, 1974 - exactly 10 years after their first Barracuda rolled off the line.
Models of the Barracuda, along with other American vehicles at the time, faced a decrease in power due to stricter exhaust emission regulations - resulting in the discontinuation of big-block engine options.
Fortunately, this particular 'Cuda is not lacking in the big-block V8 engine department.
