Video compilation shows timeline of events in fiery rally crash

The FIA World Rally Championship has uploaded a 2-minute video to its YouTube account which tells the story of Friday’s fiery crash for Hayden Paddon at the Rally Portugal.

Using a compilation of clips filmed from above and from trackside, the video shows how Paddon’s car rolled down the hill before catching fire which engulfed some nearby trees and shrubs. Fortunately, the fires were soon extinguished and Paddon and his co-driver John Kennard were OK.

Ott Tanak also went off course close to Paddon.
