Heading back to California, Monster Energy Supercross will arrive at San Diego’s Petco Park on Saturday for the sixth round of the 2016 Monster Energy Supercross season.

The event will mark the third annual Military Appreciation Night, with ticket discounts being made available to members of the military and over $82,000 having been raised in support of San Diego’s military community (click HERE for additional details).

Ryan Dungey’s winning streak came to an end last weekend at the University of Phoenix Stadium, where Ken Roczen took the spoils for his first win of 2016.

However, San Diego is a place where Dungey could return to his winning ways, having stood on the top step of the podium here earlier in the season. This is only the second time Petco Park has hosted a Supercross event, with Trey Canard taking the 450SX win the first time out in 2015.

Meanwhile in the 250SX class, Cooper Webb returned to the top of the points standings with a second-place finish last weekend in Phoenix. Webb is tied for points with Joey Savatgy, who got his first career 250SX win in Oakland, but Webb takes the overall lead due to having three wins to Savatgy’s one. Joining them as 2016 Main Event winners, Christian Craig took his first career 250SX victory last weekend in Phoenix and now sits third in the points.

Webb looks to return to his winning ways this weekend, having won both 250SX Main events to be held at Petco Park to date.
