Back in the early days of Formula 1, pit stops could take more than a minute and required mechanics to bang on a wheel nut with a hammer. In 2016, Williams tied the all-time record for the fastest four-tire pit stop at 1.92 seconds, matching Red Bull's incredible stop at the 2013 United States Grand Prix.
On Wednesday, Red Bull released a breathtaking 44-minute documentary exploring the history of pit stops, and it's a must-watch for Formula 1 fans. You can check out a trailer below, but you can stream the entire documentary online for free at Red Bull's website.
