Jeremy Clarkson featured in a crash compilation video from 1995

Jeremy Clarkson has been featured in the news a lot recently following an incident with producer Oisin Tymon that resulted in Clarkson's being sacked by the BBC. Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May have now all signed on for a new show beginning in 2016 on Amazon Prime.

However, there was a time when Clarkson wasn’t so famous and had less than 5 million Twitter followers. Yet, even then, he was still hosting car shows.

Take, for instance, the 1995 crash compilation video titled "Motor Mayhem" that has been uploaded to YouTube by Mamutstube. It was an old VHS video that features thrills and spills from sprint car racing, rally racing, motorcycle racing and more, as well as failed stunt attempts, a horse driving a car, an Australian going to the bar and more.

One year later, More Motorsport Mayhem was released with Clarkson alongside Steve Rider, but that video does include the fatal crash of JD McDuffie.
