Geri Halliwell, known to many as Ginger Spice from the 1990’s British pop group the Spice Girls, used Great Britain’s The Times to announce her engagement to Red Bull Racing’s F1 team boss Christian Horner on Tuesday. The announcement came in the form of a $500 newspaper advertisement.
The 42-year old Halliwell and 40-year old Horner went public with their relationship in March. They both have one child each from previous relationships.
Halliwell also took to Twitter, confirming the announcement on her account:
The wedding date has yet to be released, possibly partly due to the fact that Horner’s still got to deal with the 2014 Formula One season finale in Abu Dhabi next weekend.
