The radical DeltaWing race car could soon be flying down a road near you, reports FOXNews.com's Gary Gastelu.
Don Panoz, founder of DeltaWing Technologies, says that his company is planning to develop street legal versions of the car that currently competes in the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship, including one four-seat family car version.
The goals are to make the car as light and fuel efficient as possible (71 miles per gallon) while aiming for performance goals of 0-60 mph in six seconds and a top speed of 130 mph.
