A demolition derby ended with an incredible nose-to-nose hit Friday night in Kentucky.
Brent Clemens (34) and Dave Meyer (42) were the last two cars left running in the NDDA Bluegrass Bash in Louisville.
While the derby had already seen 13 cars roll over and out, the best was yet to come.
Meyer started making a direct head-on run at Clemens, and the two cars made nose-to-nose contact, lifting the front end of both machines high up into the air.
The red flag was flown and organizers placed the cars back on the ground, letting the two go at it again to determine a winner.
However, the impact had broken Clemens’ axle, and so Meyer took the win.
