Dakar Rally 2015: Stage 10/Wednesday updates
Nasser Al-Attiyah extended his lead in Wednesday’s stage 10 of the 2015 Dakar Rally, while Joan Barreda won again in the bikes, but remains hours adrift of overall-leader Marc Coma after handlebar issues earlier in the week.
Giniel de Villiers remains in second place in the cars category, but - after navigation issues earlier in the week - the South African is 28 minutes back of Al-Attiyah with just three days left to go.
In the bikes, KTM’s Marc Coma retains an 8-minute lead over Paulo Goncalves in second overall, after the former placed second during Wednesday's stage.
Former NASCAR driver Robby Gordon (pictured above) remains one of the competitors still in the rally, and has been able to claw his way back into the top 20 after mechanical issues early on in the competition.
