Celebrating Ferrari in the States: Prancing Horse reveals F60America
To celebrate 60 years in North America, Ferrari will produce just 10 Ferrari F60Americas, mirroring the production total of the 1967 GTS4 NART Spyder.
The 729-horsepower supercar will be unveiled Saturday at the Beverly Hills City Hall, one day before Ferrari President Luca di Montezemolo’s official final day with the company.
The F60 America convertible will be powered by a 3.6-liter V12 and can do 0-60 in approximately three seconds. The car is essentially an F12 Berlinetta with the roof cut off, with a blue and white livery to match that of the old North American Racing Team. The interior is asymmetric, with red trim on the driver’s side and black on the passenger side, a look also inspired by historic Ferrari racing cars.
The going price is expected to be around $2.5 million; although word is that all 10 cars have already been sold. Let the Easter egg hunt begin!
