Ali Gerba scored on a header in the 37th minute to help the North American Soccer League's Montreal Impact beat the New York Red Bulls 1-0 on Wednesday night in an exhibition game.
The Impact will join Major League Soccer next season.
The game attracted a crowd of 12,568 fans at Saputo Stadium.
