Rick Porcello continued his dominance of Fenway Park on Sunday, picking up his 10th home win of the season in the Boston Red Sox's 8-7 victory over the Minnesota Twins. He became the first Boston pitcher in 55 years to open a season 10-0 in Fenway Park.

Porcello allowed five runs with eight strikeouts in 6 2/3 innings, matching Don Schwall's 10-0 start in 1961.

The right-hander is now 13-2 with a 3.57 ERA overall this year, including a 3.21 ERA in 11 starts at Fenway.

Porcello has bounced back from a down year in 2015, his first season with the Red Sox, in which he finished 5-7 with a 4.23 ERA in 13 starts. He has become the club's most consistent starter, and the team is 15-5 this season when Porcello is on the mound.

The Red Sox are now 55-41, 1 1/2 games behind Baltimore for first place in the American League East.
