Oops! New Tigers $110M SP Zimmermann cheers Lions' loss
Jordan Zimmermann didn't get off on the right foot in Detroit. In fact, his foot was planted squarely in his mouth Thursday.
The right-hander, who signed a five-year, $110 million contract with the Tigers just a few days ago, apparently isn't a Lions fan.
After the Packers' improbable win over the Lions on Thursday -- a game in which Detroit blew a 20-0 lead and lost on a last-second Hail Mary pass -- Zimmermann tweeted this:
He quickly realized what he had done and followed up with this:
And the perfect ending! #packers @AaronRodgers12 #whatawin

It should be noted that Zimmermann is a Wisconsin native and attended the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point.
Hey folks I love Detroit but not when they play the packers! #i'msorry #rookietweetmistake
