Nationals right-hander Strasburg to make rehab start Wednesday at Triple-A

Nationals right-hander Stephen Strasburg on Wednesday will make his first rehab start since he was hurt on July 4.
Strasburg is expected to throw 60 to 70 pitches for Triple-A Syracuse. He has been sidelined with a strained left oblique sustained in a start against the San Francisco Giants.
Strasburg won his first two starts after coming off the 15-day disabled list on June 23, allowing a combined two runs, to improve to 5-5 with a 5.16 ERA on the season.
The former No. 1 overall draft pick had spent nearly a month on the DL due to soreness in his neck and shoulder. He is expected to make at least two rehab starts before rejoining the Nationals.
