Mets righty deGrom makes All-Star history in first appearance
Jacob deGrom proved himself worthy of the nickname "deGrominator" in his first appearance in an All-Star Game.
Pitching the top of the sixth for the National League on Tuesday night in Cincinnati, the reigning NL Rookie of the Year overwhelmed the American League lineup and struck out the side.
The 27-year-old righty's supremacy on the mound was impressive, and historic as well.
Riding a steady 96-98 mph fastball with live action, deGrom only needed 10 pitches, which according to MLB, made him the first pitcher in All-Star history with three strikeouts in an inning with 10 pitches or fewer.

DeGrom clearly knows how to make an entrance — and a swift exit, as well.
