Corey Seager hits 3 home runs against Mets
LOS ANGELES (AP) Corey Seager continued the Los Angeles Dodgers' home-run parade Tuesday night, hitting three against the New York Mets.
Seager matched his career-high with the three home runs, the Dodgers adding two more, one each from rookie Cody Bellinger and Yasmani Grandal.
The Dodgers have nine home runs in their two games against the Mets.
Seager also doubled, to match his career-high with four hits but his first with four extra-base hits. It gave him six RBIs on the night. He flied out with the bases loaded in the sixth inning. Tuesday was the fifth multi-homer game of his career.
Seager, the 2016 NL Rookie of the Year, has 12 home runs on the season.
Bellinger, who hit two home runs Monday night and leads the NL with 22 homers, became only the second Dodger to hit 10 home runs in a 10-game stretch. Shawn Green did it in 2002.
The Dodgers have 27 home runs in their last 10 games.
