Blue Jays' Price calls Pillar's home run — then catches it

You know how sometimes you'll be watching a game and you'll tell a friend, "He's hitting a home run here." Then he does and you feel like Nostradamus himself?

That might be how Toronto's David Price felt during Monday's ALDS game, which the visiting Blue Jays won 8-4 to tie the series with the Texas Rangers at 2-2.

Earlier in the day, the left-hander told teammate Kevin Pillar to hit a home run to him since he'd be in the bullpen.

And Pillar did.

And Price caught it ... all in the second inning.

"I told him before the game, hit me a ball in the bullpen so I can catch it," Price told reporters via Sportsnet. "I’m playing catch with (Marcus) Stroman and it was hit right to me, so that was pretty cool. I got it authenticated. I don’t know where it is right now, but that was pretty special."

Not sure what's more impressive — Price calling the shot or Pillar fulfilling the prophecy. Either way, it was an incredible play all around.
