Former world No. 1 Rory McIlroy has two chances left to end his title drought in 2013, with two in-form locals standing between him and victory at this week's Australian Open.
The Northern Irishman played a brief practice round at Royal Sydney on Monday before telling reporters, ''I'm definitely not down here for a holiday.'' He said he is eagerly looking forward to his duel with Australians Adam Scott and Jason Day.
McIlroy hasn't won in 2013 but has eight top-10 finishes, including in his past two starts, in Dubai and Shanghai.
He said, ''I've got two tournaments left. I've got here and then fly straight back to L.A. for Tiger's tournament, so it would be great to finish the year with a win.''
