Masters champ Danny Willett explains why he has low expectations for the U.S. Open

World No. 9 Danny Willett won his first major championship earlier this year and has since posted a third-place finish on the European Tour, but he's not among the top 10 favorites to win this weekend's U.S. Open at Oakmont. According to Bovada, Willett is listed at +4000 to win, far behind favorite Jason Day (+650) and the likes of Phil Mickelson (+2500) and Henrik Stenson (+3300) - and Willett seems to like it that way.
During a practice round at Oakmont, Willett said his plan for the U.S. Open is to keep the pressure on himself as low as he can, which will be vital given how punishing the golf course will be.
