WR Robinson 'has come farther than any guy on football team'
It's been an interesting year for Florida receiver Demarcus Robinson.
After leading the Gators in receptions and receiving yards in 2014, he was expected to captain the group heading into this year. Robinson started in the first game of the 2015 season -- but was then demoted to a third-string standing the following week.
Since then, he's had to scratch and claw back into the good graces of his head coach Jim McElwain -- whilst also making an impact on the team. According to McElwain during his Monday press conference, Robinson's done just that.
"I think [Robinson] has probably came farther than any guy on our football team," said McElwain.

Robinson does lead the team again this year in receptions (45) and receiving yards (477), but he's also worked to become a more complete football player (especially in terms of his consistency).
"He has a great attitude. This guy loves to practice, loves to play," said McElwain. "I've told all the scouts that have come through that this guy has come farther than any guy in our program. I'm proud of him."
