Wisconsin RB Corey Clement returning for senior year
Wisconsin Badgers running back Corey Clement has made many fans happy today. The junior runner will be returning to Madison for his senior season.
According to his running back coach John Settle via ESPN, Clement has mede his decision after weighing his options:
"He said he's coming back," Settle told ESPN.com Tuesday night. "He wants to be able to have some success here, I think prove to himself and others that he can carry the load for a season and that he can be the guy. I think he also knows that we're going to be better up front next year. It's good to know that he's coming back."
Clement missed most of the 2015 campaign with a sports hernia injury. With a fully healthy Clement in 2016, the Badgers stand a much better chance at returning to the Big Ten Championship game. Clement will surely be motivated to improve his draft stock.
