After entertaining some first-round hype, former Virginia pass-rusher Eli Harold had to wait a long time to hear his name called in the NFL draft. Eventually, the San Francisco 49ers selected Harold in the third round (79th overall).

Harold was surrounded by friends and family through it all, and Virginia Sports TV was there to capture the jubilant moment he was finally drafted. Watch the behind-the-scenes video of Harold's draft experience below.
