Victoria's Secret was forced to remove a Michigan State football T-shirt from its website after using a rival school's slogan on the design.

The "Michigan State bling scoopneck tee," which was part of the lingerie company's VS Pink Collegiate Collection, had the word "Spartans" screen-printed on the front, but "Hail to the victors" underneath — the fight song of University of Michigan.

The error was first spotted by a University of Michigan student Friday, who tweeted, "It looks like @VictoriasSecret got their Michigan schools mixed up."

The tweet, complete with a link to the T-shirt, was directed to CNBC reporter Darren Rovell, who sent it on to his followers, adding, "The folks @VictoriasSecret have made a horrible Michigan error."

The link was later removed from the website and Victoria's Secret was yet to comment on the blunder as of Saturday evening, the International Business Times reported.

The Victoria's Secret line of college-themed apparel was launched in 2008 and has expanded to more than 50 schools, the report said.
