Two Duke products expected to make a 'sudden impact' in the NFL

College Football 24/7 writer Bryan Fischer examined the 2015 NFL draft class and ranked the top 100 rookies who are bound to make a sudden impact for their new teams. Two Duke products landed on the list.

Former Duke wide receiver Jamison Crowder came in at No. 41 on the list. About him, Fischer wrote, "The Redskins are expecting Crowder to be a factor on offense and special teams right away."

Even though Laken Tomlinson was a first-round selection, he was named after his former Blue Devil teammate because the guard may not land a starting job right away for the Lions.

"The super smart guard might not start right away," Fischer wrote, "but he'll eventually contribute to the team's interior line and really move some bodies in the run game."
